#SCRUBSFORSTVINCENTS 12 May - Celebrating International Nurses Day
We salute our nurses this International Nurses Day, Tuesday 12 May. This year, more than ever, we appreciate their compassion, professionalism and around-the-clock commitment as the world fights COVID-19!
As you might already know, we’ve been working on a very special project, #ScrubsForStVincents. The Cue team, along with our local manufacturers, are producing scrubs sets for St Vincent’s Hospitals frontline staff in Sydney- the doctors, nurses and allied health workers who put themselves in harm’s way each and every day to care for their patients and save lives.
Never before have they had to be concerned about the ongoing availability of scrubs, masks and gloves to ensure they continue to provide their staff with all the essential protection they need. But as we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic is creating challenges all of us have never faced before.
This project is not only assisting St Vincent’s, but also helping to support Australian manufacturing and workers at this difficult time. Take a behind the scenes look at the Cue team at work – from designing the scrubs pattern to inspecting the first garments ready to deliver to the hospital!
Remember you can help too if in a position to do so. Your donation will assist St Vincent’s provide their staff with the scrubs they need and also support the
