Ethical Clothing Australia Week
Did you know it’s Ethical Clothing Australia Week?
This week Ethical Clothing Australia (ECA) celebrates their twentieth anniversary in the first ever #ECAWeek. As the first brand accredited under their trademark in 2010, we are beyond proud to say, congratulations ECA!
Who is ECA and what do they do?
You may know that all of our Cue styles are designed in our Sydney studio, but did you know that we also make many of our designs right here in Australia and these garments are accredited by ECA?
ECA’s job is to ensure that our makers are paid appropriately, receive their legal entitlements and work in a safe environment.
We highly value all of our Cue family members, whether they work in our head office, warehouse, stores or make our garments. This family approach couldn’t be more important than right now. In response to the challenges of COVID-19, we’ve adapted the way we work to ensure that we can continue to support our makers and longstanding partners.
Congratulations to Ethical Clothing Australia on their first #ECAWeek, and thank you to our incredible makers for their role in making the magic of Cue!
In partnerships with ECA Week, Cue’s Executive Director, Melanie Levis, and Head of Design, Kylie Parkes, participated in an exclusive podcast series by Brisbane ethical fashion blogger Britt’s List, titled ‘The Quick Unpick’.
