SHOW 01 | Runway 23
On Thursday 18 May, we presented our first runway, Show 01, at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week 2023.
The collection, where daring glamour and raw grunge meet, showcases iconic Cue codes through an unexpected lens.
Tailoring is relaxed and designed to fall off the body in dramatic proportions. Microscopic minis push the limits with attitude, while silk styles add a fluid reprieve from the dominance of structured tailoring.
The bespoke runway featured a line-up of renowned and upcoming Australian talent.
Industry leaders Gabriella Brooks, Gemma Ward, Jessica Gomes, Victoria Lee and Montana Cox took centre stage alongside newcomers Cindy Rothstrom, Em Stenberg and Chivarnie Walsh.
The sold-out runway show increased in capacity on the night to hold over 700 guests, including customers, media, industry insiders, family and friends of the brand.
Cue muses arrived to the Show 01 runway styled in key Winter 23 pieces.
Show 01 prefaces a new evolution of Cue with a cool indifference to traditional dress codes.
Iterations of tailoring, event wear and daywear, capture the journey of Cue from then, now and onwards.
