Sadly, Australia has lost its Grand Dame of Fashion.

In the mid 1960's we started our separate businesses together, and today Carla's name stands taller than any other as a great Australian brand. No other designer reached the heights of success, brand loyalty or recognition as did Carla.

Today, so many years later Carla Zampatti remains Australia's premium quality Womenswear name. Carla committed herself to her business from the very outset with determination, and plain hard work. We enjoyed a design ethos at the time that evolved into our individual brands by 1968.

Carla has grown from those early days as an energetic young lady personally delivering her stock to her customers .....to the elegant grand Lady of Australian Fashion that she has become. Carla's name shall live on not only as Australia's landmark designer but also as a great Australian who came to this country as a new Australian and proudly maintained her business production predominantly made in Australia. Carla was also a pioneer member of Ethical Clothing Australia. 

Australian Fashion will not be quite the same without Carla Zampatti. Our hearts go out to Alexander, Bianca & Allegra, her grandchildren and to all those to whom Carla means so much. We have all lost a dear founding "friend" in the Australian Fashion industry."
